My mother told me once, I could draw before I could walk! and I haven't stopped doing both since!!
I spent most of my childhood in the coutryside surrounded by animals and unusual pets, not too dis-similar to Gerald Durrell's "My Family and other Animals!!" A pet sheep living in our family sitting room! This is when my passion for drawing animals began.
After graduating with a 2:1 B.A honours in Fine art, I moved to London where I began my many years of working with children and dogs, intergrating my art work as much as possible.
Having illustrated for several children's writers, illustrating private commissions and greeting cards, I understand the importance of deadlines and good communication.
I work mainly in watercolour ,ink and pencil.
I prefer to work with comical themes from monsters, super hero farm animals and dogs, but I am confident to take on new projects and love the challenge in creating new characters.
